Project brief

If emotion became visible, what would society redesign?

What could everyday life become if emotion was visible and public systems were designed around care and shared understanding?

Challenge

The project asked what could happen if emotion was no longer private. A positive future still needed to show tension, trade-offs and believable everyday consequences.

Design response

I built a complete world around MindChip technology, visible emotional auras, Mood Beacons and the First Light Ceremony. Film, artefacts and service systems made the future tangible.

Outcome

The final work became a coherent speculative world presented through a narrative film, a physical prototype and an illustrated pictorial publication.

Process

One idea becomes a whole world.

Four moves connect the problem, the design logic and the final direction.

01

MindChip

Make emotional state visible rather than hidden.

02

Aura

Translate feeling into a public visual language.

03

Mood Beacon

Turn collective emotion into environmental information.

04

First Light

Let the system become ritual, culture and memory.

Media

2075, made believable.

The moving pieces make the project easier to understand at a glance.
